A review of the code showed, that this function which is exposed within the whole kernel should do a parameter check for the amount of bytes requested. If this requested bytes is too high an unsigned int overflow could happen causing this function to try to memcpy a really big memory chunk. This is not a security issue as there are only two invocations of this function from arch/s390/include/asm/archrandom.h and both are not exposed to userland. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
