This removes arch_supports_pkeys(), arch_usable_pkeys() and thread_pkey_regs_*() which are remnants from the following: commit06bb53b338("powerpc: store and restore the pkey state across context switches") commit2cd4bd192e("powerpc/pkeys: Fix handling of pkey state across fork()") commitcf43d3b264("powerpc: Enable pkey subsystem") arch_supports_pkeys() and arch_usable_pkeys() were unused since their introduction while thread_pkey_regs_*() became unused after the introduction of the following: commitd5fa30e699("powerpc/book3s64/pkeys: Reset userspace AMR correctly on exec") commit48a8ab4eeb("powerpc/book3s64/pkeys: Don't update SPRN_AMR when in kernel mode") Signed-off-by: Sandipan Das <sandipan@linux.ibm.com> Reviewed-by: Ram Pai <linuxram@us.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210202150050.75335-1-sandipan@linux.ibm.com
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
