<linux/cryptohash.h> sounds very generic and important, like it's the header to include if you're doing cryptographic hashing in the kernel. But actually it only includes the library implementation of the SHA-1 compression function (not even the full SHA-1). This should basically never be used anymore; SHA-1 is no longer considered secure, and there are much better ways to do cryptographic hashing in the kernel. Remove this header and fold it into <crypto/sha.h> which already contains constants and functions for SHA-1 (along with SHA-2). be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
