This patch fixes the original commitc0cfb10d9e("drm/i915/edp: Do not do link training fallback or prune modes on EDP") that causes a blank screen in case of certain eDP panels (Eg: seen on Dell XPS13 9350) where first link training fails and a retraining is required by falling back to lower link rate/lane count. In case of some panels they advertise higher link rate/lane count than whats required for supporting the panel's native mode. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
