As per the Host Controller Standard Specification Version 4.20, limitation of tuning iteration count is removed as PLL locking time can be longer than UHS-1 tuning due to larger PVT fluctuation and it will result in increase of tuning iteration to complete the tuning. This patch creates sdhci_host member tuning_loop_count to allow hosts to specify maximum tuning iterations and also updates execute_tuning to use this specified maximum tuning iteration count. Default tuning_loop_count is set to same as existing loop count of MAX_TUNING_LOOP which is 40 iterations. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
