Even with rate limited reporting this is very spammy and since it is remote device that is providing bogus data there is no need to report this as error. Since real_len variable was used only to allow conditional error message it is now also removed. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
