When a log recovery is in progress, lots of operations have to take that into account, so we keep this status per tree during the operation. Long time ago error handling revamp patch79787eaab4("btrfs: replace many BUG_ONs with proper error handling") removed clearing of the status in an error branch. Add it back as was intended ine02119d5a7("Btrfs: Add a write ahead tree log to optimize synchronous operations"). There are probably no visible effects, log replay is done only during mount and if it fails all structures are cleared so the stale status won't be kept. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
