If a device has more than one touchring, we want to be sure that userspace is able to distinguish them. Following previous standards, the first absolute ring will be reported as ABS_WHEEL and the second as ABS_THROTTLE. Relative rings will use REL_WHEEL_HI_RES / REL_WHEEL for the first and REL_HWHEEL_HI_RES / REL_HWHEEL for the second. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
