On systems without a hypervisor the responsibility of requesting the creation of the notification bitmaps in the SPM falls to the FF-A driver. We use FFA features to determine if the ABI is supported, if it is not we can assume there is a hypervisor present and will take care of ensure the relevant notifications bitmaps are created on this partitions behalf. An endpoint’s notification bitmaps needs to be setup before it configures its notifications and before other endpoints and partition managers can start signaling these notifications. Add interface to create and destroy the notification bitmaps and use the same to do the necessary setup during the initialisation and cleanup during the module exit. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
