Currently the asm constraints for __get_mem_asm() mark the value register as an earlyclobber operand. This means that the compiler can't reuse the same register for both the address and value, even when the value is not subsequently used. There's no need for the value register to be marked as earlyclobber, as it's only written to after the address register is consumed, even when the access faults. Remove the unnecessary earlyclobber. There should be no functional change as a result of this patch. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
