George Boole would have noticed a slight error in 4.16 commit69d763fc6d("mm: pin address_space before dereferencing it while isolating an LRU page"). Fix it, to match both the comment above it, and the original behaviour. Although anonymous pages are not marked PageDirty at first, we have an old habit of calling SetPageDirty when a page is removed from swap cache: so there's a category of ex-swap pages that are easily migratable, but were inadvertently excluded from compaction's async migration in 4.16. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
