Currently each architectures that wants to override dma_to_phys and phys_to_dma also has to provide dma_capable. But there isn't really any good reason for that. powerpc and mips just have copies of the generic one minus the latests fix, and the arm one was the inspiration for said fix, but misses the bus_dma_mask handling. Make all architectures use the generic version instead. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
