The ICE_F_PTP_EXTTS feature flag is ostensibly intended to support checking whether the device supports external timestamp pins. It is only checked in E810-specific code flows, and is enabled for all E810-based devices. E822 and E823 flows unconditionally enable external timestamp support. This makes the feature flag meaningless, as it is always enabled. Just unconditionally enable support for external timestamp pins and remove this unnecessary flag. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
