This fixes Spectre-v1/L1TF vulnerabilities in vmx_read_guest_seg_selector(), vmx_read_guest_seg_base(), vmx_read_guest_seg_limit() and vmx_read_guest_seg_ar(). When invoked from emulation, these functions contain index computations based on the (attacker-influenced) segment value. Using constants prevents the attack. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
