In SSAM subsystem drivers that handle both ACPI and SSAM-native client devices, we may want to check whether we have a SSAM (native) client device. Further, we may want to do this even when instantiation thereof cannot happen due to CONFIG_SURFACE_AGGREGATOR_BUS=n. Currently, doing so causes an error due to an undefined reference error due to ssam_device_type being placed in the bus source unit. Therefore, if CONFIG_SURFACE_AGGREGATOR_BUS is not defined, simply let is_ssam_device() return false to prevent this error. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
