[why] AMD Stoney reference board, there are only 2 pipes (not include underlay), and 3 connectors. resource creation, only 2 I2C/AUX engines are created. Within dc_link_aux_transfer, when pin_data_en =2, refer to enengines[ddc_pin->pin_data->en] = NULL. NULL point is referred later causing system crash. [how] each asic design has fixed number of ddc engines at hw side. for each ddc engine, create its i2x/aux engine at sw side. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
