current_stack_frame() doesn't return the stack pointer, but the caller's stack frame. See commitbfe9a2cfe9("powerpc: Reimplement __get_SP() as a function not a define") and commitacf620ecf5("powerpc: Rename __get_SP() to current_stack_pointer()") for details. In some cases this is overkill or incorrect, as it doesn't return the current value of r1. So add a current_stack_pointer register global to get the value of r1 directly. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
