In HDLC mode, some status flags related to the data read transfer can be set by the hardware and need to be known by a QMC consumer for further analysis. Extend the API in order to provide these transfer status flags at the read complete() call. In TRANSPARENT mode, these flags have no meaning. Keep only one read complete() API and update the consumers working in transparent mode. In this case, the newly introduced flags parameter is simply unused. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
