The thermal zone device structure is exposed to the different drivers and obviously they access the internals while that should be restricted to the core thermal code. In order to self-encapsulate the thermal core code, we need to prevent the drivers accessing directly the thermal zone structure and provide accessor functions to deal with. Use the devdata accessor introduced in the previous patch. No functional changes intended. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
