The driver may sleep with holding a spinlock. The function call paths (from bottom to top) in Linux-4.17 are: [FUNC] usleep_range drivers/net/ethernet/socionext/sni_ave.c, 892: usleep_range in ave_rxfifo_reset drivers/net/ethernet/socionext/sni_ave.c, 932: ave_rxfifo_reset in ave_irq_handler [FUNC] usleep_range drivers/net/ethernet/socionext/sni_ave.c, 888: usleep_range in ave_rxfifo_reset drivers/net/ethernet/socionext/sni_ave.c, 932: ave_rxfifo_reset in ave_irq_handler To fix these bugs, usleep_range() is replaced with udelay(). ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
