- Silence an annoying RCU splat on (even non-KVM-related) panics.
The splat is technically legit, but in practice not an issue. To
have a race, you would need to unload the KVM modules at exactly
the time a panic happens; and speaking of incredibly rare races,
taking the locks risks introducing a deadlock if the module unload
code took the lock on a CPU that has been halted. Which seems
possibly more likely than the RCU grace period issue, so just shut
it up. This code used to be in KVM but is now outside it; but the
x86 maintainers haven't picked it up, so here we are.

Chris Adams reported that preserving insertion order for same-scope
addresses is causing SSH connections to be dropped after stopping a VM
while running NetworkManager.
NetworkManager caches the IPv6 address configuration, when a RA arrives,
it determines the list of addresses to configure and checks if the
addresses are already in the right order in the kernel. If they aren't,
NetworkManager removes and re-adds them to achieve the desired order.
As the order changes, NetworkManager is confused and reconfigures the
addresses on every update. In addition, this would also affect to cloud
tooling that relies on IPv6 addresses order to identify primary and
secondaries addresses.
This reverts commit cb3de96eea.

Avoid using a fixed limit, no matter the setup. This was causing too
high bufferbloat in some situations, e.g. with a low bandwidth and very
low delay because the default limit was too high for this case.
Instead, use more appropriated limits. Note that unbalanced bandwidth
modes seem to require slightly higher limits to cope with the different
bursts.

Add ntf_bind() method to YnlFamily for binding the netlink
socket without joining a multicast group. This enables receiving
unicast notifications through the existing poll_ntf/check_ntf
path.
The OVS packet family sends MISS and ACTION upcalls via
genlmsg_unicast() to a per-vport PID rather than through a
multicast group. The existing ntf_subscribe() couples bind()
with setsockopt(ADD_MEMBERSHIP), which does not fit the unicast
case. ntf_bind() provides the bind-only alternative, with the
address defaulting to (0, 0) but exposed as an explicit argument.

CXL test environment hits the following error sometimes.
cxl_mem mem9: endpoint7 failed probe
All mock memdevs are platform firmware devices added by cxl_test module,
and cxl_test module also provides a platform device driver for them to
create a memdev device to CXL subsystem. cxl_test module uses
cxl_rcd/mem_single/mem arrays to store different types of mock memdevs.
CXL drivers calls registered mock functions for a mock memdev by
checking if a given memdev is in these arrays.
When cxl_test module adds these mock memdevs, it always calls
platform_device_add() before adding them to a suitable mock memdev
array. However, there is a small window where CXL drivers calls mock
function for a added memdev before it added to a mock memdev array. In
above case, cxl endpoint driver considers a added memdev was not a mock
memdev, then calling devm_cxl_endpoint_decoders_setup() for it rather
than mock_endpoint_decoders_setup().
An appropriate solution is that adding a new mock device to a mock
device array before calling platform_device_add() for it. It can
guarantee the new mock device is visible to CXL subsystem.
This patch introduces a new helped called cxl_mock_platform_device_add()
to handle the issue, and uses the function for all mock devices addition.

Patches 7+8 fix a regression from 7.1-rc1. Everything else
is from 2.6.x to 5.3 releases. There are additional known
issues with these patches (drive-by-findings in related code).
There are many old bugs all over netfilter and our ability to review
feature patches has come to a complete halt due to lack of time.
There are further security bugs that we cannot address
due to lack of time, maintainers and reviewers.
Other remarks: The xtables 32bit compat interface is already
off in many vendor kernels, the plan is to remove it soon.

In test_mutliproc(), when send() or recv() returns an error (e.g.,
-1), the test continues to execute the remaining code and fails
repeatedly due to using EXPECT_GE.
For example, if a TLS connection is broken and recv() returns -1,
EXPECT_GE(res, 0) records a failure but does not stop the test.
The test then proceeds with left -= res (where res = -1), causing
left to increase unexpectedly, and the loop continues indefinitely.
This results in a massive number of identical failure messages:
# tls.c:1686:mutliproc_sendpage_writers:Expected res (-1) >= 0 (0)
# tls.c:1686:mutliproc_sendpage_writers:Expected res (-1) >= 0 (0)
... (hundreds of identical failures)
Fix this by replacing EXPECT_GE with ASSERT_GE. When send() or recv()
fails, ASSERT_GE immediately aborts the current test, preventing
the subsequent undefined behavior and endless failure messages.

Commit 150061a206 ("net/sched: fq_codel: local packets no longer count against memory limit")
made fq_codel not account for local packets in the
memory limit. Since tests a4bb, a4be, a4bf, a4c0, a4c1 were relying on
these packets being accounted so that parent's qlen notify callback was
executed, they broke.
Fix the tests by adding the qdiscs to ifb instead and making it see
mirred packets that came from scapy. That way the packets are accounted
in the memory limit and the parent's qlen notify callback is still
executed.

Functional coverage of nft_fib6_eval()'s nexthop enumeration over
three route shapes:
1) single external nexthop (nhid)
2) external nexthop group (nhid -> group)
3) old-style multipath (nexthop ... nexthop ...)
Each scenario places one nexthop on the input device (veth0). For
(2) and (3) the matching nexthop is the second member, so the walk
has to traverse beyond the primary nh. Two nft counters on prerouting
verify the data path: one increments only when fib reports veth0 as
the oif, the other counts "missing" results and must stay at zero.
./nft_fib_nexthop.sh
PASS: single external nexthop (nhid -> veth0)
PASS: nexthop group (dummy0 + veth0)
PASS: old-style multipath (sibling on veth0)

Pull networking fixes from Jakub Kicinski:
"Including fixes from Bluetooth, wireless and netfilter.
Craziness continues with no end in sight. Even discounting the driver
revert this is a pretty huge PR for standards of the previous era. I'd
speculate - we haven't seen the worst of it, yet. Good news, I guess,
is that so far we haven't seen many (any?) cases of "AI reported a
bug, we fixed it and a real user regressed".
Current release - fix to a fix:
- Bluetooth: btmtk: accept too short WMT FUNC_CTRL events
- vsock/virtio: relax the recently added memory limit a little
Current release - regressions:
- IB/IPoIB: make sure IB drivers always use async set_rx_mode since
some (mlx5) are now required to use it due to locking changes
Previous releases - regressions:
- udp: fix UDP length on last GSO_PARTIAL segment
- af_unix: fix UAF read of tail->len in unix_stream_data_wait()
- tcp: fix stale per-CPU tcp_tw_isn leak enabling ISN prediction
- mlx5e: fix unlocked writing to ICOSQ, breaking AF_XDP
Previous releases - always broken:
- tap: fix stack info leak in tap_ioctl() SIOCGIFHWADDR
- ipv4: raw: reject IP_HDRINCL packets with ihl < 5
- Bluetooth: a lot of locking and concurrency fixes (as always)
- batman-adv (mesh wireless networking): a lot of random fixes for
issues reported by security researchers and Sashiko
- netfilter: same thing, a lot of small security-ish fixes all over
the place, nothing really stands out
Misc:
- bring back the old 3c509 driver, Maciej wants to maintain it"

Data adjustment cases failed with "Data exchange failed" when using IPv4
because the program did not update the IP and UDP checksums in the IPv4
branch. The issue was masked when both IPv4 and IPv6 were configured,
since the test harness prefers IPv6.
While here, generalize csum_fold_helper() to fold twice so it works for
any 32-bit input.

The run.sh script explicitly checks that CONFIG_MODULES is disabled.
By default, this config option is enabled. Explicitly disable it to be
able to run the RDS tests.
Note that writing '# CONFIG_(...) is not set' is usually recommended to
disable an option in the .config, but it looks like selftests usually
set 'CONFIG_(...)=n', which looks clearer.

Test the scenario where a socket is inserted into a sockmap with a
BPF_SK_SKB_VERDICT program before TLS RX is configured. Previously
sk_psock_verdict_data_ready() would call tcp_read_skb() and drain the
receive queue without advancing copied_seq, causing tls_decrypt_sg()
to walk a dangling frag_list pointer (use-after-free).
The test drives the full vulnerable sequence and verifies that after
the fix recv() returns the correct decrypted data.

This patch adds support for testing rds rdma over ROCE. A new
-r flag is added to config.sh which enables the required kernel
configs for rdma. We also add a -T flag to run.sh, which takes
a transport option, tcp or rdma. The rdma option will check to
ensure the proper configs have been enabled. The flag is then
passed to test.py, which will run the test over the specified
transport(s)

This patch adds a teardown_tcp() helper that removes net0/net1.
The cmd calls here use fail=False so they can be called from
completed or partially-setup states on error. Also call
teardown_tcp() at the top of setup_tcp() so a previous
interrupted run does not leave net0/net1 lingering and break a
subsequent ip netns add. Register teardown_tcp() with atexit
before setup_tcp() is invoked.
Likewise, we can simpliy stop_pcaps() handling by registering it
with atexit instead of calling it from the signal handler.
atexit handlers run on any exit path - normal completion, raised
exception, and sys.exit() from the timeout signal handler. This
guarantees cleanup are called without further wrapping the test
body in a try/finally blocks.
atexit LIFO ordering keeps stop_pcaps before teardown_tcp so
tcpdumps are killed cleanly before their namespaces go away.
This is a preparatory cleanup for the upcoming ROCE patch which
will also register a teardown_rdma() alongside teardown_tcp()

Sockets created by child processes in netns_socket may raise
exceptions that are currently not handled by the parent. If for
example a namespace didn't exist or the rds module didn't load. Because
these exceptions occur with in a child thread, the child thread exits,
but the parent does not check the return status.
Further, allowing the child processes to quietly raise exceptions
will cause problems later if the parent registers clean up functions
with atexit. Since the child processes inherit the parents handlers,
they may prematurely call the parents cleanup routines without the
parent being aware.
Fix this by all catching exceptions raised by the child processes.
Child errors surface as a non-zero exit status, which are then
properly raised in the parent process.

__bpf_dynptr_data() can return NULL (FILE dynptrs, any non-contiguous
backing). bpf_verify_pkcs7_signature() forwards the pointer to
verify_pkcs7_signature() unchecked, causing a NULL deref in
asn1_ber_decoder() reachable from a sleepable BPF LSM at lsm.s/bpf.
NULL-check both pointers and reject with -EINVAL. Mirrors the guards
already in kernel/bpf/crypto.c.
