785f4cc068 drm/xe: Deny unbinds if uapi ufence pending
If user fence was provided for MAP in vm_bind_ioctl
and it has still not been signalled, deny UNMAP of said
vma with EBUSY as long as unsignalled fence exists.

This guarantees that MAP vs UNMAP sequences won't
escape under the radar if we ever want to track the
client's state wrt to completed and accessible MAPs.
By means of intercepting the ufence release signalling.

86b3cd6d07 drm/xe: Expose user fence from xe_sync_entry
By allowing getting reference to user fence, we can
control the lifetime outside of sync entries.

This is needed to allow vma to track the associated
user fence that was provided with bind ioctl.

4ca5c82988 drm/xe: Use pointers in trace events
Commit a0df2cc858 ("drm/xe/xe_bo_move: Enhance xe_bo_move trace")
inadvertently reverted commit 8d038f49c1 ("drm/xe: Fix cast on trace
variable"), breaking the build on 32bits.

As noted by Ville, there's no point in converting the pointers to u64
and add casts everywhere. In fact, it's better to just use %p and let
the address be hashed. Convert all the cases in xe_trace.h to use
pointers.

12cb2b21c2 drm/xe/mmio: fix build warning for BAR resize on 32-bit
clang complains about a nonsensical test on builds with a 32-bit phys_addr_t,
which means resizing will always fail:

Previously, BAR resize was always disallowed on 32-bit kernels, but
this apparently changed recently. Since 32-bit machines can in theory
support PAE/LPAE for large address spaces, this may end up useful,
so change the driver to shut up the warning but still work when
phys_addr_t/resource_size_t is 64 bit wide.

14d4d0ad0a drm/xe: get rid of MAX_BINDS
Mesa has been issuing a single bind operation per ioctl since xe.ko
changed to GPUVA due xe.ko bug #746. If I change Mesa to try again to
issue every single bind operation it can in the same ioctl, it hits
the MAX_BINDS assertion when running Vulkan conformance tests.

Test dEQP-VK.sparse_resources.transfer_queue.3d.rgba32i.1024_128_8
issues 960 bind operations in a single ioctl, it's the most I could
find in the conformance suite.

I don't see a reason to keep the MAX_BINDS restriction: it doesn't
seem to be preventing any specific issue. If the number is too big for
the memory allocations, then those will fail. Nothing related to
num_binds seems to be using the stack. Let's just get rid of it.

a41f6b0db5 drm/xe: Use vmalloc for array of bind allocation in bind IOCTL
Use vmalloc in effort to allow a user pass in a large number of binds in
an IOCTL (mesa use case). Also use array allocations rather open coding
the size calculation.

ccff0b21eb drm/xe: Don't support execlists in xe_gt_tlb_invalidation layer
The xe_gt_tlb_invalidation layer implements TLB invalidations for a GuC
backend. Simply return if in execlists mode. A follow up may properly
implement the xe_gt_tlb_invalidation layer for both GuC and execlists.

eaa367a031 drm/xe/uapi: Remove unused flags
Those cases missed in previous uAPI cleanups were mostly accidentally
brought in from i915 or created to exercise the possibilities of gpuvm
but they are not used by userspace yet, so let's remove them. They can

7e10d87e63 drm/xe: Add uapi for dumpable bos
Add the flag XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_DUMPABLE to notify devcoredump that this
mapping should be dumped.

This is not hooked up, but the uapi should be ready before merging.

It's likely easier to dump the contents of the bo's at devcoredump
readout time, so it's better if the bos will stay unmodified after
a hang. The NEEDS_CPU_MAPPING flag is removed as requirement.

5b672ec3f5 drm/xe: Return 2MB page size for compact 64k PTEs
Compact 64k PTEs are only intended to be used within a single VMA which
covers the entire 2MB range of the compact 64k PTEs. Add
XE_VMA_PTE_COMPACT VMA flag to indicate compact 64k PTEs are used and
update xe_vma_max_pte_size to return at least 2MB if set.

77aebae1ea drm/xe/uapi: Remove support for persistent exec_queues
Persistent exec_queues delays explicit destruction of exec_queues
until they are done executing, but destruction on process exit
is still immediate. It turns out no UMD is relying on this
functionality, so remove it. If there turns out to be a use-case
in the future, let's re-add.

Persistent exec_queues were never used for LR VMs

9704669c38 tracing/probes: Fix to search structure fields correctly
Fix to search a field from the structure which has anonymous union
correctly.
Since the reference `type` pointer was updated in the loop, the search
loop suddenly aborted where it hits an anonymous union. Thus it can not
find the field after the anonymous union. This avoids updating the
cursor `type` pointer in the loop.

     doesn't zero the output as intended.

  Selftests cleanups and fixes:

   - Remove redundant newlines from error messages.

   - Delete an unused variable in the AMX test (which causes build
     failures when compiling with -Werror).

   - Fail instead of skipping tests if open(), e.g. of /dev/kvm, fails
     with an error code other than ENOENT (a Hyper-V selftest bug
     resulted in an EMFILE, and the test eventually got skipped).

   - Fix TSC related bugs in several Hyper-V selftests.

   - Fix a bug in the dirty ring logging test where a sem_post() could
     be left pending across multiple runs, resulting in incorrect
     synchronization between the main thread and the vCPU worker thread.

   - Relax the dirty log split test's assertions on 4KiB mappings to fix
     false positives due to the number of mappings for memslot 0 (used
     for code and data that is NOT being dirty logged) changing, e.g.

Pull tracing fixes from Steven Rostedt:

 - Fix the #ifndef that didn't have the 'CONFIG_' prefix on
   HAVE_DYNAMIC_FTRACE_WITH_REGS

   The fix to have dynamic trampolines work with x86 broke arm64 as the
   config used in the #ifdef was HAVE_DYNAMIC_FTRACE_WITH_REGS and not
   CONFIG_HAVE_DYNAMIC_FTRACE_WITH_REGS which removed the fix that the
   previous fix was to fix.

 - Fix tracing_on state

   The code to test if "tracing_on" is set incorrectly used
   ring_buffer_record_is_on() which returns false if the ring buffer
   isn't able to be written to.

   But the ring buffer disable has several bits that disable it. One is
   internal disabling which is used for resizing and other modifications
   of the ring buffer. But the "tracing_on" user space visible flag
   should only report if tracing is actually on and not internally
   disabled, as this can cause confusion as writing "1" when it is
   disabled will not enable it.

   Instead use ring_buffer_record_is_set_on() which shows the user space
   visible settings.

 - Fix a false positive kmemleak on saved cmdlines

   Now that the saved_cmdlines structure is allocated via alloc_page()
   and not via kmalloc() it has become invisible to kmemleak. The
   allocation done to one of its pointers was flagged as a dangling
   allocation leak. Make kmemleak aware of this allocation and free.

 - Fix synthetic event dynamic strings

   An update that cleaned up the synthetic event code removed the return
   value of trace_string(), and had it return zero instead of the
   length, causing dynamic strings in the synthetic event to always have
   zero size.

 - Clean up documentation and header files for seq_buf
