David Brownell cb1cebbee6 usbnet: init fault (oops) cleanup, whitespace fixes ...

This cleans up some error handling paths in usbnet device probing;
one of them could cause oopsing, e.g. with some RNDIS devices.

It also removes some extraneous whitespace.
