47f42ff521 tipc: fix integer overflow in tipc_recvmsg() and tipc_recvstream()
In tipc_recvmsg(), the copy length is computed as:

  copy = min_t(int, dlen - offset, buflen);

buflen is size_t but min_t(int, ...) casts it to int. When buflen
exceeds INT_MAX (e.g. 0xFFFFFFFF via io_uring provided buffers), it
wraps negative, wins the comparison, and the negative copy length
propagates to simple_copy_to_iter() where int-to-size_t promotion
makes it SIZE_MAX, triggering a WARN_ON. tipc_recvstream() has the
same pattern.

  Kernel panic - not syncing: kernel: panic_on_warn set ...
  RIP: 0010:simple_copy_to_iter+0x9e/0xd0 (net/core/datagram.c:521)
  Call Trace:
   __skb_datagram_iter+0x123/0x8b0 (net/core/datagram.c:402)
   skb_copy_datagram_iter+0x77/0x1a0 (net/core/datagram.c:534)
   tipc_recvmsg+0x3d7/0xe80 (net/tipc/socket.c:1934)
   io_recvmsg+0x47e/0xda0

Fix by changing min_t(int, ...) to min_t(size_t, ...) in both
functions. The result is always <= (dlen - offset), which is bounded
by TIPC maximum message size (0x1ffff bytes), so the implicit
narrowing on assignment to int copy is always safe.

ba0533fc16 tipc: clear sock->sk on the failed-insert path in tipc_sk_create()
When tipc_sk_create() fails to insert the new socket (tipc_sk_insert()
returns non-zero), its error path frees the sk with sk_free() but leaves
sock->sk pointing at the freed object:

	if (tipc_sk_insert(tsk)) {
		sk_free(sk);
		pr_warn("Socket create failed; port number exhausted\n");
		return -EINVAL;
	}

This is harmless for plain socket(): the syscall layer clears sock->ops
before releasing, so tipc_release() is never called. It is not harmless
on the accept() path. tipc_accept() creates the pre-allocated child
socket with tipc_sk_create(net, new_sock, 0, kern); on failure it leaves
new_sock->sk dangling and new_sock->ops non-NULL, and do_accept() then
fput()s the new file, so __sock_release() -> tipc_release() runs
lock_sock(new_sock->sk) on the freed sk -- a use-after-free write of the
sk_lock spinlock.

tipc_release() already guards this exact "failed accept() releases a
pre-allocated child" case with "if (sk == NULL) return 0;", but the
guard is bypassed because tipc_sk_create() left sock->sk non-NULL
(dangling) rather than NULL.

Clear sock->sk on the failed-insert path so the existing tipc_release()
NULL check fires and the use-after-free is avoided.

The tipc_sk_insert() failure is reached when the per-netns socket
rhashtable hits its max_size (tsk_rht_params.max_size = 1048576, ~2M
elements) -- i.e. once a netns holds ~2M TIPC sockets every insert
returns -E2BIG.

The TIPC_DUMP_ALL tracepoints in tipc_sk_enqueue() also dump
sk_receive_queue and can therefore dereference skbs that the socket
owner has already dequeued or freed. Restrict these dumps to
TIPC_DUMP_SK_BKLGQ, which matches the queue protected by the held
spinlock.

Keep the change limited to the enqueue path, where the unsafe queue dump
is reachable while the socket is owned by user context.

ab3e10b44b tipc: prevent snt_unacked underflow on CONN_ACK
tipc_sk_conn_proto_rcv() subtracts the peer-supplied connection ack count
from the unsigned 16-bit send counter snt_unacked without checking that it
does not exceed the number of messages actually outstanding:

	tsk->snt_unacked -= msg_conn_ack(hdr);

msg_conn_ack() is read straight from a received CONN_MANAGER/CONN_ACK
message. If the ack count is larger than snt_unacked, the subtraction
wraps to a near-maximum value, leaving tsk_conn_cong() permanently true
and starving the connection of further transmits.

Validate the ACK count at the start of the CONN_ACK block and drop the
message if it acknowledges more messages than are outstanding. A peer (or,
for a local connection, the connected peer socket) can otherwise wedge a
TIPC connection's send side by sending an oversized connection ack.

c56dbb469f tipc: convert to getsockopt_iter
Convert TIPC sockets (msg, packet, stream proto_ops) to use the new
getsockopt_iter callback with sockopt_t.

Key changes:
- Replace (char __user *optval, int __user *optlen) with sockopt_t *sopt
- Use sopt->optlen for buffer length (input) and returned size (output)
- Use copy_to_iter() instead of put_user()/copy_to_user()

The sockopt_t parameter is named sopt to avoid collision with the
existing optname parameter named opt.

Note: Dropped the unnecessary parentheses to make checkpatch happier.
Also dropped two now-stale comments that referred to the old "res"
variable handling.

6c5a9baa15 tipc: fix divide-by-zero in tipc_sk_filter_connect()
A user can set conn_timeout to any value via
setsockopt(TIPC_CONN_TIMEOUT), including values less than 4. When a
SYN is rejected with TIPC_ERR_OVERLOAD and the retry path in
tipc_sk_filter_connect() executes:

    delay %= (tsk->conn_timeout / 4);

If conn_timeout is in the range [0, 3], the integer division yields 0,
and the modulo operation triggers a divide-by-zero exception, causing a
kernel oops/panic.

Fix this by clamping conn_timeout to a minimum of 4 at the point of use
in tipc_sk_filter_connect().

bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

It is because commit a41dad905e ("iov_iter: saner checks for attempt
to copy to/from iterator") has introduced sanity check for copying
from/to iov iterator. Lacking of copy direction from the iterator
viewpoint would lead to kernel stack trace like above.

This commit fixes this issue by initializing the iov iterator with
the correct copy direction when sending SYN or ACK without data.

f4bb62e64c tipc: increase timeout in tipc_sk_enqueue()
In tipc_sk_enqueue() we use hardcoded 2 jiffies to extract
socket buffer from generic queue to particular socket.
The 2 jiffies is too short in case there are other high priority
tasks get CPU cycles for multiple jiffies update. As result, no
buffer could be enqueued to particular socket.

To solve this, we switch to use constant timeout 20msecs.
Then, the function will be expired between 2 jiffies (CONFIG_100HZ)
and 20 jiffies (CONFIG_1000HZ).

7387a72c5f tipc: call tipc_wait_for_connect only when dlen is not 0
__tipc_sendmsg() is called to send SYN packet by either tipc_sendmsg()
or tipc_connect(). The difference is in tipc_connect(), it will call
tipc_wait_for_connect() after __tipc_sendmsg() to wait until connecting
is done. So there's no need to wait in __tipc_sendmsg() for this case.

This patch is to fix it by calling tipc_wait_for_connect() only when dlen
is not 0 in __tipc_sendmsg(), which means it's called by tipc_connect().

Note this also fixes the failure in tipcutils/test/ptts/:

  # ./tipcTS &
  # ./tipcTC 9
  (hang)

As Hoang pointed out, it was caused by skb_cb->bytes_read still accessed
after calling tsk_advance_rx_queue() to free the skb in tipc_recvmsg().

This patch is to fix it by accessing skb_cb->bytes_read earlier than
calling tsk_advance_rx_queue().

f8dd60de19 tipc: fix implicit-connect for SYN+
For implicit-connect, when it's either SYN- or SYN+, an ACK should
be sent back to the client immediately. It's not appropriate for
the client to enter established state only after receiving data
from the server.

On client side, after the SYN is sent out, tipc_wait_for_connect()
should be called to wait for the ACK if timeout is set.

This patch also restricts __tipc_sendstream() to call __sendmsg()
only when it's in TIPC_OPEN state, so that the client can program
in a single loop doing both connecting and data sending like:

  for (...)
      sendmsg(dest, buf);

This makes the implicit-connect more implicit.

f4919ff59c tipc: keep the skb in rcv queue until the whole data is read
Currently, when userspace reads a datagram with a buffer that is
smaller than this datagram, the data will be truncated and only
part of it can be received by users. It doesn't seem right that
users don't know the datagram size and have to use a huge buffer
to read it to avoid the truncation.

This patch to fix it by keeping the skb in rcv queue until the
whole data is read by users. Only the last msg of the datagram
will be marked with MSG_EOR, just as TCP/SCTP does.

Note that this will work as above only when MSG_EOR is set in the
flags parameter of recvmsg(), so that it won't break any old user
applications.

5ef213258d tipc: simplify handling of lookup scope during multicast message reception
We introduce a new macro TIPC_ANY_SCOPE to make the handling of the
lookup scope value more comprehensible during multicast reception.

The (unchanged) rules go as follows:

1) Multicast messages sent from own node are delivered to all matching
   sockets on the own node, irrespective of their binding scope.

2) Multicast messages sent from other nodes arrive here because they
   have found TIPC_CLUSTER_SCOPE bindings emanating from this node.
   Those messages should be delivered to exactly those sockets, but not
   to local sockets bound with TIPC_NODE_SCOPE, since the latter
   obviously were not meant to be visible for those senders.

3) Group multicast/broadcast messages are delivered to the sockets with
   a binding scope matching exactly the lookup scope indicated in the
   message header, and nobody else.

6bf24dc0cc net:tipc: Fix a double free in tipc_sk_mcast_rcv
In the if(skb_peek(arrvq) == skb) branch, it calls __skb_dequeue(arrvq) to get
the skb by skb = skb_peek(arrvq). Then __skb_dequeue() unlinks the skb from arrvq
and returns the skb which equals to skb_peek(arrvq). After __skb_dequeue(arrvq)
finished, the skb is freed by kfree_skb(__skb_dequeue(arrvq)) in the first time.

Unfortunately, the same skb is freed in the second time by kfree_skb(skb) after
the branch completed.

My patch removes kfree_skb() in the if(skb_peek(arrvq) == skb) branch, because
this skb will be freed by kfree_skb(skb) finally.
