f6a68e691f isdn/gigaset: enable Kernel CAPI support by default
Kernel CAPI has been the recommended ISDN subsystem for the Gigaset
driver since kernel release 2.6.34.2. It provides full backwards
compatibility to the old I4L subsystem thanks to the capidrv module.
I4L has been marked as deprecated for more than seven years.

d737d7da8e firewire: sbp2: replace card lock by target lock
firewire-core uses fw_card.lock to protect topology data and transaction
data.  firewire-sbp2 uses fw_card.lock for entirely unrelated purposes.

Introduce a sbp2_target.lock to firewire-sbp2 and replace all
fw_card.lock uses in the driver.  fw_card.lock is now entirely private
to firewire-core.  This has no immediate advantage apart from making it
clear in the code that firewire-sbp2 does not interact with the core
via the core lock.

0765cbd3be firewire: sbp2: protect a reference counter properly
The assertion in the comment in sbp2_allow_block() is no longer true.
Or maybe it never was true.  At least now, the sole caller of
sbp2_allow_block(), sbp2_login, can run concurrently to one of
sbp2_unblock()'s callers, sbp2_remove.

sbp2_login is performed by sbp2_logical_unit.work.
sbp2_remove is performed by fw_device.work.
sbp2_remove cancels sbp2_logical_unit.work, but only after it called
sbp2_unblock.

0238507b95 firewire: core: document fw_csr_string's truncation of long strings
fw_csr_string() truncates and terminates target strings like strlcpy()
does.  Unlike strlcpy(), it returns the target strlen, not the source
strlen, hence users of fw_csr_string() are unable to detect truncation.

Point this behavior out in the kerneldoc comment.

e2338f86b3 ethernet/realtek: use napi_alloc_skb instead of netdev_alloc_skb_ip_align
This replaces most of the calls to netdev_alloc_skb_ip_align in the Realtek
drivers.  The one instance I didn't replace in 8139cp.c is because it was
called as a part of init and as such is not always accessed from the
softirq context.

67fd893ee0 ethernet/intel: Use napi_alloc_skb
This change replaces calls to netdev_alloc_skb_ip_align with
napi_alloc_skb.  The advantage of napi_alloc_skb is currently the fact that
the page allocation doesn't make use of any irq disable calls.

There are few spots where I couldn't replace the calls as the buffer
allocation routine is called as a part of init which is outside of the
softirq context.

fdf9b96503 xen/blkfront: remove redundant flush_op
flush_op is unambiguously defined by feature_flush:
    REQ_FUA | REQ_FLUSH -> BLKIF_OP_WRITE_BARRIER
    REQ_FLUSH -> BLKIF_OP_FLUSH_DISKCACHE
    0 -> 0
and thus can be removed. This is just a cleanup.

The patch was suggested by Boris Ostrovsky.

ad42d391ae xen/blkfront: improve protection against issuing unsupported REQ_FUA
Guard against issuing unsupported REQ_FUA and REQ_FLUSH was introduced
in d11e61583 and was factored out into blkif_request_flush_valid() in
0f1ca65ee. However:
1) This check in incomplete. In case we negotiated to feature_flush = REQ_FLUSH
   and flush_op = BLKIF_OP_FLUSH_DISKCACHE (so FUA is unsupported) FUA request
   will still pass the check.
2) blkif_request_flush_valid() is misnamed. It is bool but returns true when
   the request is invalid.
3) When blkif_request_flush_valid() fails -EIO is being returned. It seems that
   -EOPNOTSUPP is more appropriate here.
Fix all of the above issues.

This patch is based on the original patch by Laszlo Ersek and a comment by
Jeff Moyer.

   - Support for hierarchical irq domains:

     For complex interrupt routing scenarios where more than one
     interrupt related chip is involved we had no proper representation
     in the generic interrupt infrastructure so far.  That made people
     implement rather ugly constructs in their nested irq chip
     implementations.  The main offenders are x86 and arm/gic.

     To distangle that mess we have now hierarchical irqdomains which
     seperate the various interrupt chips and connect them via the
     hierarchical domains.  That keeps the domain specific details
     internal to the particular hierarchy level and removes the
     criss/cross referencing of chip internals.  The resulting hierarchy
     for a complex x86 system will look like this:

        vector          mapped: 74
          msi-0         mapped: 2
          dmar-ir-1     mapped: 69
            ioapic-1    mapped: 4
            ioapic-0    mapped: 20
            pci-msi-2   mapped: 45
          dmar-ir-0     mapped: 3
            ioapic-2    mapped: 1
            pci-msi-1   mapped: 2
          htirq         mapped: 0

     Neither ioapic nor pci-msi know about the dmar interrupt remapping
     between themself and the vector domain.  If interrupt remapping is
     disabled ioapic and pci-msi become direct childs of the vector
     domain.

     In hindsight we should have done that years ago, but in hindsight
     we always know better :)

   - Support for generic MSI interrupt domain handling

     We have more and more non PCI related MSI interrupts, so providing
     a generic infrastructure for this is better than having all
     affected architectures implementing their own private hacks.

   - Support for PCI-MSI interrupt domain handling, based on the generic
     MSI support.

     This part carries the pci/msi branch from Bjorn Helgaas pci tree to
     avoid a massive conflict.  The PCI/MSI parts are acked by Bjorn.

  I have two more branches on top of this.  The full conversion of x86
  to hierarchical domains and a partial conversion of arm/gic"

4ef8e3f350 Revert "swiotlb-xen: pass dev_addr to swiotlb_tbl_unmap_single"
This reverts commit 2c3fc8d26d.

This commit broke on x86 PV because entries in the generic SWIOTLB are
indexed using (pseudo-)physical address not DMA address and these are
not the same in a x86 PV guest.

a18c0af171 drm: Zero out DRM object memory upon cleanup
Drivers where the DRM objects have a lifetime that extends beyond that
of the DRM device need to zero out the DRM object memory to void stale
data such as properties. The DRM core code expects to operate on newly
allocated and zeroed out objects and will behave unexpectedly, such as
add duplicate properties, otherwise.

b58ba1ba1a HID: wacom: Initialize MT slots for generic devices at post_parse_hid
If a HID descriptor places HID_DG_CONTACTID before HID_DG_X and HID_DG_Y then
the ABS_X and ABS_Y will not be automatically initialized by the call to
input_mt_init_slots. To ensure that this is not a problem, we relocate that
call to occur after HID parsing has been completed and we've initalized all the
multitouch axes.

Turned out GEN6_WIZ_HASHING_MASK was already shifted by 16, and we were
trying to shift it a bit more.

The other thing is that it's not the usual case of setting WA bits here, we
need to have separate mask and value.

To fix this, I've introduced a new _MASKED_FIELD() macro that takes both the
(unshifted) mask and the desired value and the rest of the patch ripples
through from it.

0b6d24c019 drm/i915: Don't complain about stolen conflicts on gen3
Apparently stuff works that way on those machines.

I agree with Chris' concern that this is a bit risky but imo worth a
shot in -next just for fun. Afaics all these machines have the pci
resources allocated like that by the BIOS, so I suspect that it's all
ok.

11d3d2a16c xen-netfront: use correct linear area after linearizing an skb
Commit 97a6d1bb2b (xen-netfront: Fix
handling packets on compound pages with skb_linearize) attempted to
fix a problem where an skb that would have required too many slots
would be dropped causing TCP connections to stall.

However, it filled in the first slot using the original buffer and not
the new one and would use the wrong offset and grant access to the
wrong page.

Netback would notice the malformed request and stop all traffic on the
VIF, reporting:

    vif vif-3-0 vif3.0: txreq.offset: 85e, size: 4002, end: 6144
    vif vif-3-0 vif3.0: fatal error; disabling device

fb3b596d3c net: systemport: allow changing MAC address
Hook a ndo_set_mac_address callback, update the internal Ethernet MAC in
the netdevice structure, and finally write that address down to the
UniMAC registers. If the interface is down, and most likely clock gated,
we do not update the registers but just the local copy, such that next
ndo_open() call will effectively write down the address.
