71ab55a9af mlx4: Get rid of the mlx4_interface.get_dev callback
Simplify the mlx4 driver interface by removing mlx4_get_protocol_dev()
and the associated mlx4_interface.get_dev callbacks. This is done in
preparation to use an auxiliary bus to model the mlx4 driver structure.

The change is motivated by the following situation:
* The mlx4_en interface is being initialized by mlx4_en_add() and
  mlx4_en_activate().
* The latter activate function calls mlx4_en_init_netdev() ->
  register_netdev() to register a new net_device.
* A netdev event NETDEV_REGISTER is raised for the device.
* The netdev notififier mlx4_ib_netdev_event() is called and it invokes
  mlx4_ib_scan_netdevs() -> mlx4_get_protocol_dev() ->
  mlx4_en_get_netdev() [via mlx4_interface.get_dev].

This chain creates a problem when mlx4_en gets switched to be an
auxiliary driver. It contains two device calls which would both need to
take a respective device lock.

Avoid this situation by updating mlx4_ib_scan_netdevs() to no longer
call mlx4_get_protocol_dev() but instead to utilize the information
passed in net_device.parent and net_device.dev_port. This data is
sufficient to determine that an updated port is one that the mlx4_ib
driver should take care of and to keep mlx4_ib_dev.iboe.netdevs up to
date.

Following that, update mlx4_ib_get_netdev() to also not call
mlx4_get_protocol_dev() and instead scan all current netdevs to find
find a matching one. Note that mlx4_ib_get_netdev() is called early from
ib_register_device() and cannot use data tracked in
mlx4_ib_dev.iboe.netdevs which is not at that point yet set.

Finally, remove function mlx4_get_protocol_dev() and the
mlx4_interface.get_dev callbacks (only mlx4_en_get_netdev()) as they
became unused.

b1d1e90490 tracing/probes: Support BTF argument on module functions
Since the btf returned from bpf_get_btf_vmlinux() only covers functions in
the vmlinux, BTF argument is not available on the functions in the modules.
Use bpf_find_btf_id() instead of bpf_get_btf_vmlinux()+btf_find_name_kind()
so that BTF argument can find the correct struct btf and btf_type in it.
With this fix, fprobe events can use `$arg*` on module functions as below

To support the module's btf which is removable, the struct btf needs to be
ref-counted. So this also records the btf in the traceprobe_parse_context

740ebe35bd mptcp: add struct mptcp_sched_ops
This patch defines struct mptcp_sched_ops, which has three struct members,
name, owner and list, and four function pointers: init(), release() and
get_subflow().

The scheduler function get_subflow() have a struct mptcp_sched_data
parameter, which contains a reinject flag for retrans or not, a subflows
number and a mptcp_subflow_context array.

Add the scheduler registering, unregistering and finding functions to add,
delete and find a packet scheduler on the global list mptcp_sched_list.

e3f9324b23 RISC-V: Remove ptrace support for vectors
We've found two bugs here: NT_RISCV_VECTOR steps on NT_RISCV_CSR (which
is only for embedded), and we don't have vlenb in the core dumps.  Given
that we've have a pair of bugs croup up as part of the GDB review we've
probably got other issues, so let's just cut this for 6.5 and get it
right.

f316cdff8d clk: Annotate struct clk_hw_onecell_data with __counted_by
Prepare for the coming implementation by GCC and Clang of the __counted_by
attribute. Flexible array members annotated with __counted_by can have
their accesses bounds-checked at run-time checking via CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS
(for array indexing) and CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE (for strcpy/memcpy-family
functions).

As found with Coccinelle[1], add __counted_by for struct clk_hw_onecell_data.
Additionally, since the element count member must be set before accessing
the annotated flexible array member, move its initialization earlier.

10bb4e4ab7 PM: sleep: Add helpers to allow a device to remain powered-on
On some platforms a device and its corresponding PM domain, may need to
remain powered-on during system wide suspend, to support various use cases.
For example, when the console_suspend_enabled flag is unset for a serial
controller, the corresponding device may need to remain powered on. Other
use cases exists too.

In fact, we already have the mechanism in the PM core to deal with these
kind of use cases. However, the current naming of the corresponding
functions/flags clearly suggests these should be use for system wakeup.
See device_wakeup_path(), device_set_wakeup_path and
dev->power.wakeup_path.

As a way to extend the use of the existing mechanism, let's introduce two
new helpers functions, device_awake_path() and device_set_awake_path(). At
this point, let them act as wrappers of the existing functions. Ideally,
when all users have been converted to use the new helpers, we may decide to
drop the old ones and rename the flag.

47284862bf of: overlay: Extend of_overlay_fdt_apply() to specify the target node
Currently, in an overlay fdt fragment, it needs to specify the exact
location in base DT. In another word, when the fdt fragment is generated,
the base DT location for the fragment is already known.

There is new use case that the base DT location is unknown when fdt
fragment is generated. For example, the add-on device provide a fdt
overlay with its firmware to describe its downstream devices. Because it
is add-on device which can be plugged to different systems, its firmware
will not be able to know the overlay location in base DT. Instead, the
device driver will load the overlay fdt and apply it to base DT at runtime.
In this case, of_overlay_fdt_apply() needs to be extended to specify
the target node for device driver to apply overlay fdt.

a7a2ef0c4b mac80211: make ieee80211_tx_info padding explicit
While looking at a bug, I got rather confused by the layout of the
'status' field in ieee80211_tx_info. Apparently, the intention is that
status_driver_data[] is used for driver specific data, and fills up the
size of the union to 40 bytes, just like the other ones.

This is indeed what actually happens, but only because of the
combination of two mistakes:

 - "void *status_driver_data[18 / sizeof(void *)];" is intended
   to be 18 bytes long but is actually two bytes shorter because of
   rounding-down in the division, to a multiple of the pointer
   size (4 bytes or 8 bytes).

 - The other fields combined are intended to be 22 bytes long, but
   are actually 24 bytes because of padding in front of the
   unaligned tx_time member, and in front of the pointer array.

The two mistakes cancel out. so the size ends up fine, but it seems
more helpful to make this explicit, by having a multiple of 8 bytes
in the size calculation and explicitly describing the padding.

3bfeb61256 block: sed-opal: keyring support for SED keys
Extend the SED block driver so it can alternatively
obtain a key from a sed-opal kernel keyring. The SED
ioctls will indicate the source of the key, either
directly in the ioctl data or from the keyring.

This allows the use of SED commands in scripts such as
udev scripts so that drives may be automatically unlocked
as they become available.

Original Factory State without erasing the data. If IOC_OPAL_REVERT_LSP
is called with opal_revert_lsp.options bit OPAL_PRESERVE set prior
to calling IOC_OPAL_REVERT_TPR, the drive global locking range will not
be erased.

42a569cd0d serial: 8250_bcm7271: improve bcm7271 8250 port
The 8250 BCM7271 UART is not a direct match to PORT_16550A and other
generic ports do not match its hardware capabilities. PORT_ALTR matches
the rx trigger levels, but its vendor configurations are not compatible.
Unfortunately this means we need to create another port to fully capture
the hardware capabilities of the BCM7271 UART.

To alleviate some latency pressures, we default the rx trigger level to 8.

e112ec4202 tty: n_gsm: add restart flag to extended ioctl config
Currently, changing the parameters of the n_gsm mux gives no direct control
to the user whether this should trigger a mux reset or not. The decision is
solely made by the driver based on the assumption which parameter changes
are compatible or not. Therefore, the user has no means to perform an
automatic mux reset after parameter configuration for non-conflicting
changes.

Add the parameter 'flags' to 'gsm_config_ext' to force a mux reset after
ioctl setting regardless of whether the changes made require this or not
by setting this to 'GSM_FL_RESTART'. This is done similar to
'GSM_FL_RESTART' in gsm_dlci_config.flags.

Note that 'GSM_FL_RESTART' is currently the only allowed flag to allow
additions here.

901de5ac0e tty: n_gsm: add missing description to structs in gsmmux.h
Currently, all available structure fields in gsmmux.h except those
for gsm_config are commented. Furthermore, no kernel doc comments are used.

Fix this by adding appropriate comments to the not commented fields of
gsm_config. Convert the comments of the other structs to kernel doc format.

Note that 'mru' and 'mtu' refer to the size without basic/advanced option
mode header and byte stuffing as defined in the standard in chapter 5.7.2.

warning by wrapping these three up via struct_group().

54b45ee8bd serial: core: Remove unused PORT_* definitions
For the last couple of years Linux kernel got rid of a few architectures
and many platforms. Hence some PORT_* definitions in the serial_core.h
become unused and redundant. Remove them for good.

Removed IDs are checked for users against Debian Code Search engine.
Hence safe to remove as there are no consumers found (only providers).

While at it, add a note about 0-13, that are defined in the other file.

Switch to u8, but preserve the ulong alignment using __aligned.

23e60c8daf usb: typec: tcpci: clear the fault status bit
According the "USB Type-C Port Controller Interface Specification v2.0"
the TCPC sets the fault status register bit-7
(AllRegistersResetToDefault) once the registers have been reset to
their default values.

This triggers an alert(-irq) on PTN5110 devices albeit we do mask the
fault-irq, which may cause a kernel hang. Fix this generically by writing
a one to the corresponding bit-7.

f236433064 usb: typec: bus: verify partner exists in typec_altmode_attention
Some usb hubs will negotiate DisplayPort Alt mode with the device
but will then negotiate a data role swap after entering the alt
mode. The data role swap causes the device to unregister all alt
modes, however the usb hub will still send Attention messages
even after failing to reregister the Alt Mode. type_altmode_attention
currently does not verify whether or not a device's altmode partner
exists, which results in a NULL pointer error when dereferencing
the typec_altmode and typec_altmode_ops belonging to the altmode
partner.

Verify the presence of a device's altmode partner before sending
the Attention message to the Alt Mode driver.

b1f778a223 KVM: arm64: pmu: Resync EL0 state on counter rotation
Huang Shijie reports that, when profiling a guest from the host
with a number of events that exceeds the number of available
counters, the reported counts are wildly inaccurate. Without
the counter oversubscription, the reported counts are correct.

Their investigation indicates that upon counter rotation (which
takes place on the back of a timer interrupt), we fail to
re-apply the guest EL0 enabling, leading to the counting of host
events instead of guest events.

In order to solve this, add yet another hook between the host PMU
driver and KVM, re-applying the guest EL0 configuration if the
right conditions apply (the host is VHE, we are in interrupt
context, and we interrupted a running vcpu). This triggers a new
vcpu request which will apply the correct configuration on guest
reentry.

With this, we have the correct counts, even when the counters are
oversubscribed.

43c2817225 net: remove unnecessary input parameter 'how' in ifdown function
When the ifdown function in the dst_ops structure is referenced, the input
parameter 'how' is always true. In the current implementation of the
ifdown interface, ip6_dst_ifdown does not use the input parameter 'how',
xfrm6_dst_ifdown and xfrm4_dst_ifdown functions use the input parameter
'unregister'. But false judgment on 'unregister' in xfrm6_dst_ifdown and
xfrm4_dst_ifdown is false, so remove the input parameter 'how' in ifdown
function.
