For some reason we ended up kfree between spinlock lock and unlock,
which can sleep.

move the kfree out of spinlock section.

ba0c67d3c4 ASoC: qcom: sc8280xp: use sa8775p/ subdir for QCS9100 / QCS9075
All firmware for the Lemans platform aka QCS9100 aka QCS9075 is for
historical reasons located in the qcom/sa8775p/ subdir inside
linux-firmware. The only exceptions to this rule are audio topology
files. While it's not too late, change the subdir to point to the
sa8775p/ subdir, so that all firmware for that platform is present at

ASoC: Updates for v6.18

A relatively quiet release for ASoC, we've had a lot of maintainance
work going on and several new drivers but really the most remarkable
thing is that we removed a driver, the WL1273 driver used in some old
Nokia systems that have had the underlying system support removed from
the kernel.

 - Morimoto-san continues his work on cleanups of the core APIs and
   enforcement of abstraction layers.
 - Lots of cleanups and conversions of DT bindings.
 - Substantial maintainance work on the Intel AVS drivers.
 - Support for Qualcomm Glymur and PM4125, Realtek RT1321, Shanghai
   FourSemi FS2104/5S, Texas Instruments PCM1754.
 - Remove support for TI WL1273.

fc87f70bd1 ASoC: qcom: qdsp6/audioreach: add support for offloading raw opus playback
Add support for OPUS module, OPUS format ID, media format payload struct
and make it all recognizable by audioreach compress playback path.

At this moment this only supports raw or plain OPUS packets not
encapsulated in container (for instance OGG container). For this usecase
each OPUS packet needs to be prepended with 4-bytes long length field
which is expected to be done by userspace applications. This is
Qualcomm DSP specific requirement.

c7a321e4e9 ASoC: qcom: sc8280xp: Fix sound card driver name match data for QCS8275
The QCS8275 board is based on Qualcomm's QCS8300 SoC family, and all
supported firmware files are located in the qcs8300 directory. The
sound topology and ALSA UCM configuration files have also been migrated
from the qcs8275 directory to the actual SoC qcs8300 directory in
linux-firmware. With the current setup, the sound topology fails
to load, resulting in sound card registration failure.

This patch updates the driver match data to use the correct driver name
qcs8300 for the qcs8275-sndcard, ensuring that the sound card driver
correctly loads the sound topology and ALSA UCM configuration files
from the qcs8300 directory.

2c92e2fbe9 ALSA: compress_offload: Add 64-bit safe timestamp infrastructure
The copied_total field in struct snd_compr_tstamp is a 32-bit
value that can overflow on long-running high-bitrate streams,
leading to incorrect calculations for buffer availablility.

This patch adds a 64-bit safe timestamping mechanism.
A new UAPI struct, snd_compr_tstamp64, is added which uses 64-bit
types for byte counters. The relevant ops structures across the
ASoC and core compress code are updated to use this new struct.
ASoC drivers are updated to use u64 counters.

Internal timestamps being u64 now, a compatibility function is added
to convert the 64-bit timestamp back to the 32-bit format for legacy
ioctl callers.

The 'ret' variable usually is used to store returns from some functions,

Storing the negative error codes in unsigned type, doesn't cause an issue

codes to unsigned type may trigger a GCC warning when the -Wsign-conversion
flag is enabled.

Change "ret" from u32/unsigned int to int type. No effect on runtime.

c7ed4c2deb ASoC: qcom: audioreach: add support for static calibration
This change adds support for static calibration data via ASoC topology
file. This static calibration data could include binary blob of data
that is required by specific module and is not part of topology tokens.

Reason for adding this support is to allow loading module specific data
that can not be part of the tplg tokens, example, Echo and Noise cancelling
module needs a blob of calibration data to function correctly.

This support is also one of the building block for adding speaker
protection support.

Tested this with Single Mic ECNS(Echo and Noise Cancellation).

tplg can now contain this calibration data like:

		...
(B3)		unsigned int dai_id = cpu_dai->driver->id;

(A)		component->id = dai_id;
		...
	}

This driver can get dai_id from substream (B0 - B3).
In this driver, below functions get dai_id from component->id (A).

(X)	lpass_platform_pcmops_suspend()
(Y)	lpass_platform_pcmops_resume()
(Z)	lpass_platform_copy()

Here, (Z) can get it from substream (B0 - B3), don't need to use
component->id (A). On suspend/resume (X)(Y), dai_id can only be obtained
from component->id (A), because there is no substream (B0) in function
parameter.

But, component->id (A) itself should not be used for such purpose.
It is intilialized at snd_soc_component_initialize(), and parsed its ID
(= component->id) from device name (a).

	int snd_soc_component_initialize(...)
	{
		...
		if (!component->name) {
(a)			component->name = fmt_single_name(dev, &component->id);
			...                                     ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
		}
		...
	}

Unfortunately, current code is broken to start with.

There are many regmaps that the driver cares about, however its only
managing one (either dp or i2s) in component suspend/resume path.

I2S regmap is mandatory however other regmaps are setup based on flags
like "hdmi_port_enable" and "codec_dma_enable".

Correct thing for suspend/resume path to handle is by checking these
flags, instead of using component->id.

c4b79a2fbf ASoC: qcom: sm8250: set card driver name from match data
Sound machine drivers for Qualcomm SoCs can be reused across multiple
SoCs. But user space ALSA UCM files depend on the card driver name which
should be set per board/SoC.

Allow such customization by using driver match data as sound card driver
name. The QRB4210 RB2 gets its name set to "sm4250" as requested by
Srinivas Kandagatla, and since no (known) UCM has been written yet this
should not break anything.

Pull USB / Thunderbolt updates from Greg KH:
 "Here is the big set of USB and Thunderbolt changes for 6.16-rc1.
  Included in here are the following:

   - USB offload support for audio devices.

     I think this takes the record for the most number of patch series
     (30+) over the longest period of time (2+ years) to get merged
     properly.

     Many props go to Wesley Cheng for seeing this effort through, they
     took a major out-of-tree hacked-up-monstrosity that was created by
     multiple vendors for their specific devices, got it all merged into
     a semi-coherent set of changes, and got all of the different major
     subsystems to agree on how this should be implemented both with
     changes to their code as well as userspace apis, AND wrangled the
     hardware companies into agreeing to go forward with this, despite
     making them all redo work they had already done in their private
     device trees.

     This feature offers major power savings on embedded devices where a
     USB audio stream can continue to flow while the rest of the system
     is sleeping, something that devices running on battery power really
     care about. There are still some more small tweaks left to be done
     here, and those patches are still out for review and arguing among
     the different hardware companies, but this is a major step forward
     and a great example of how to do upstream development well.

   - small number of thunderbolt fixes and updates, things seem to be
     slowing down here (famous last words...)

   - xhci refactors and reworking to try to handle some rough corner
     cases in some hardware implementations where things don't always
     work properly

   - typec driver updates

   - USB3 power management reworking and updates

   - Removal of some old and orphaned UDC gadget drivers that had not
     been used in a very long time, dropping over 11 thousand lines from
     the tree, always a nice thing, making up for the 12k lines added
     for the USB offload feature.

   - lots of little updates and fixes in different drivers

  All of these have been in linux-next for over 2 weeks, the USB offload
  logic has been in there for 8 weeks now, with no reported issues"

e2d8ae8997 ASoC: qdsp6: fix compile-testing without CONFIG_OF
The driver builds cleanly only when CONFIG_OF is enabled, otherwise the

The driver does not support legacy board files, so the of_match_ptr()

e0dd9240f1 ASoC: qcom: qdsp6: Fetch USB offload mapped card and PCM device
The USB SND path may need to know how the USB offload path is routed, so
that applications can open the proper sound card and PCM device. The
implementation for the QC ASoC design has a "USB Mixer" kcontrol for each
possible FE (Q6ASM) DAI, which can be utilized to know which front end link
is enabled.

When an application/userspace queries for the mapped offload devices, the
logic will lookup the USB mixer status though the following path:

MultiMedia* <-> MM_DL* <-> USB Mixer*

The "USB Mixer" is a DAPM widget, and the q6routing entity will set the
DAPM connect status accordingly if the USB mixer is enabled. If enabled,
the Q6USB backend link can fetch the PCM device number from the FE DAI
link (Multimedia*). With respects to the card number, that is
straightforward, as the ASoC components have direct references to the ASoC
platform sound card.

An example output can be shown below:

Number of controls: 9
name                                    value

The "USB Offload Playback Route PCM#*" kcontrol will signify the
corresponding card and pcm device it is offload to. (card#0 pcm - device#1)
If the USB SND device supports multiple audio interfaces, then it will
contain several PCM streams, hence in those situations, it is expected
that there will be multiple playback route kcontrols created.
