ASoC: Fixes for v5.16

There's a large but repetitive set of fixes here for issues with the
Tegra kcontrols not correctly reporting changes to userspace, a fix for
some issues with matching on older x86 platforms introduced during the
merge window together with a set of smaller fixes and one new system
quirk.

28c916ade1 ASoC: soc-acpi: Set mach->id field on comp_ids matches
Commit dac7cbd55d ("ASoC: Intel: soc-acpi-byt: shrink tables using
compatible IDs") and commit 959ae8215a ("ASoC: Intel: soc-acpi-cht:
shrink tables using compatible IDs") simplified the match tables in
soc-acpi-intel-byt-match.c and soc-acpi-intel-cht-match.c by merging
identical entries using the new .comp_ids snd_soc_acpi_mach field to
point a single entry to multiple ACPI HIDs and clearing the previously
unique per entry .id field.

But various machine drivers from sound/soc/intel/boards rely on mach->id
in one or more ways, e.g. some drivers contain the following snippets:

	adev = acpi_dev_get_first_match_dev(mach->id, NULL, -1);

	pkg_found = snd_soc_acpi_find_package_from_hid(mach->id, ...

	if (!strncmp(snd_soc_cards[i].codec_id, mach->id, 8)) { ...

All of which are broken by the match table shrinking.

Make the snd_soc_acpi_mach.id field non const (the storage for the tables
already is non const) and on a comps_ids match copy the matching HID to
the id field to fix this.

7599acb7b9 Revert "ALSA: memalloc: Convert x86 SG-buffer handling with non-contiguous type"
This reverts commit 2d9ea39917.

We've got a regression report showing that the audio got broken the
device over AMD IOMMU.  The conversion assumed the wrong pointer /
page mapping for the indirect mapping case, and we need to correct
this urgently, so let's revert it for now.

cafa39b650 ASoC: soc-acpi: add comp_ids field for machine driver matching
A machine driver needs to be enumerated by more than one ACPI HID if
it supports second headphone driver (i.e. rt5682 and rt5682s).
However, the id field in snd_soc_acpi_mach structure could contain
only one HID. By adding a 'comp_ids' field which can contain several
HIDs, we can enumerate a machine driver by multiple ACPI HIDs.

407359d44e ALSA: firewire-motu: export meter information to userspace as float value
In command DSP models, one meter information consists of 4 bytes for
IEEE 764 floating point (binary32). In previous patch, it is exported
to userspace as 32 bit storage since the storage is also handled in
ALSA firewire-motu driver as well in kernel space in which floating point
arithmetic is not preferable. On the other hand, ALSA firewire-motu driver
doesn't perform floating point calculation. The driver just gather meter
information from isochronous packets and fill structure fields for
userspace.

In 'header' target of Kbuild, UAPI headers are processed before installed.
In this timing, #ifdef macro with __KERNEL__ is removed. This mechanism
is useful in the case so that the 32 bit storage can be accessible as u32
type in kernel space and float type in user space. We can see the same
usage in ''struct acct_v3' in 'include/uapi/linux/acct.h'.

This commit is for the above idea. Additionally, due to message
protocol, meter information is filled with 0xffffffff in the end of
period but 0xffffffff is invalid as binary32. To avoid confusion in
userspace application, the last two elements are left without any
assignment.

0f166e1257 ALSA: firewire-motu: refine parser for meter information in register DSP models
After further investigation, I realize that the total number of elements
in array is not enough to store all of related messages from device.
This commit refines meter array and message parser.

In terms of channel identifier, register DSP models are classified to
two categories:

1. the target of output is selectable

828mk2, 896hd, and Traveler are in the category. They transfer messages
with channel identifier between 0x00 and 0x13 for input meters,
therefore 20 elements are needed to store.

On the other hand, they transfer messages with channel identifier for one
pair of output meters. The selection is done by asynchronous write
transaction to offset 0x'ffff'f000'0b2c. The table for relationship
between written value and available identifiers is below:

transfer messages for output meters without any selection. The table for

used for the purpose as well as for change of mixer parameter.

e3008b7ccb ASoC: dt-bindings: rename q6afe.h to q6dsp-lpass-ports.h
move all LPASS audio ports defines from q6afe.h to q6dsp-lpass-ports.h
as these belong to LPASS IP.
Also this move helps in reusing this header across multiple audio
frameworks on Qualcomm Audio DSP.

This patch is split out of the dt-bindings patch to enable easy review.

2d9ea39917 ALSA: memalloc: Convert x86 SG-buffer handling with non-contiguous type
We've had an x86-specific SG-buffer handling code, but now it can be
merged gracefully with the standard non-contiguous DMA pages.

After the migration, SNDRV_DMA_TYPE_DMA_SG becomes identical with
SNDRV_DMA_TYPE_NONCONTIG on x86, while others still fall back to
SNDRV_DMA_TYPE_DEV.

The remaining problem is about the SG-buffer with WC pages: the DMA
core stuff on x86 doesn't treat it well, so we still need some special
handling to manipulate the page attribute manually.  The mmap handler
for SNDRV_DMA_TYPE_DEV_SG_WC still returns -ENOENT intentionally for
the fallback to the default handler.

Following to the addition of non-contiguous pages, this patch adds the
new contiguous non-coherent page allocation to the standard memalloc
helper.  Like the previous non-contig type, this non-coherent type is
also directional and requires the explicit sync, too.  Hence the
driver using this type of buffer may need to set
SNDRV_PCM_INFO_EXPLICIT_SYNC flag to the PCM hardware.info as well,
unless it's set up in the managed mode.

a25684a956 ALSA: memalloc: Support for non-contiguous page allocation
This patch adds the support for allocation of non-contiguous DMA pages
in the common memalloc helper.  It's another SG-buffer type, but
unlike the existing one, this is directional and requires the explicit
sync / invalidation of dirty pages on non-coherent architectures.

For this enhancement, the following points are changed:
- snd_dma_device stores the DMA direction.
- snd_dma_device stores need_sync flag indicating whether the explicit
  sync is required or not.
- A new variant of helper functions, snd_dma_alloc_dir_pages() and
  *_all() are introduced; the old snd_dma_alloc_pages() and *_all()
  kept as just wrappers with DMA_BIDIRECTIONAL.
- A new helper snd_dma_buffer_sync() is introduced; this gets called
  in the appropriate places.
- A new allocation type, SNDRV_DMA_TYPE_NONCONTIG, is introduced.

When the driver allocates pages with this new type, and it may require
the SNDRV_PCM_INFO_EXPLICIT_SYNC flag set to the PCM hardware.info for
taking the full control of PCM applptr and hwptr changes (that implies
disabling the mmap of control/status data).  When the buffer
allocation is managed by snd_pcm_set_managed_buffer(), this flag is
automatically set depending on the result of dma_need_sync()
internally.  Otherwise, if the buffer is managed manually, the driver
has to set the flag explicitly, too.

The explicit sync between CPU and device for non-coherent memory is
performed at the points before and after read/write transfer as well
as the applptr/hwptr syncptr ioctl.  In the case of mmap mode,
user-space is supposed to call the syncptr ioctl with the hwptr flag
to update and fetch the status at first; this corresponds to CPU-sync.
Then user-space advances the applptr via syncptr ioctl again with
applptr flag, and this corresponds to the device sync with flushing.

Other than the DMA direction and the explicit sync, the usage of this
new buffer type is almost equivalent with the existing
SNDRV_DMA_TYPE_DEV_SG; you can get the page and the address via
snd_sgbuf_get_page() and snd_sgbuf_get_addr(), also calculate the
continuous pages via snd_sgbuf_get_chunk_size().

For those SG-page handling, the non-contig type shares the same ops
with the vmalloc handler.  As we do always vmap the SG pages at first,
the actual address can be deduced from the vmapped address easily
without iterating the SG-list.

c41108049d kyber: avoid q->disk dereferences in trace points
q->disk becomes invalid after the gendisk is removed.  Work around this
by caching the dev_t for the tracepoints.  The real fix would be to
properly tear down the I/O schedulers with the gendisk, but that is
a much more invasive change.

8e141f9eb8 block: drain file system I/O on del_gendisk
Instead of delaying draining of file system I/O related items like the
blk-qos queues, the integrity read workqueue and timeouts only when the
request_queue is removed, do that when del_gendisk is called.  This is
important for SCSI where the upper level drivers that control the gendisk
are separate entities, and the disk can be freed much earlier than the
request_queue, or can even be unbound without tearing down the queue.

ca15a09ccc ALSA: firewire-motu: add ioctl command to read cached parameters in register DSP model
This patch adds new ioctl command for userspace applications to read
cached parameters of register DSP.

The structured data includes model-dependent parameters. Userspace
application should be carefully programmed so that what parameter is
common and specific.

It can use Codec2Codec but very simple case only for now.
It doesn't have "SWITCH" control yet, thus it start automatically

6e5f68fe3f ASoC: add Audio Graph Card2 driver
We already have audio-graph-card which is Of-graph base of general
sound card driver.

It is supporting DPCM connection, but was forcibly expanded.
Thus, it is very difficult to add new features on it, for example
Multi CPU/Codec support, Codec2Codec support, etc.

This patch adds more flexible new Audio Graph Card2 driver for it.
audio-graph-card and audio-graph-card2 are similar, but don't have
full compatibility.

Audio Graph Card2 supports very generic connection, but some users
want to have its own settings, for example PLL settings, etc.
For such case, it has customizing support.
In users own driver, it can use Audio Graph Card2 parsing by using
audio_graph2_parse_of(), and doing its own customizing.

Because Audio Graph Card2 is still under experimental stage,
it will indicate such warning when probing, and the DT syntax
might be changed.

6098475d4c spi: Fix deadlock when adding SPI controllers on SPI buses
Currently we have a global spi_add_lock which we take when adding new
devices so that we can check that we're not trying to reuse a chip
select that's already controlled.  This means that if the SPI device is
itself a SPI controller and triggers the instantiation of further SPI
devices we trigger a deadlock as we try to register and instantiate
those devices while in the process of doing so for the parent controller
and hence already holding the global spi_add_lock.  Since we only care
about concurrency within a single SPI bus move the lock to be per
controller, avoiding the deadlock.

This can be easily triggered in the case of spi-mux.

49f885b2d9 net: dsa: tag_ocelot_8021q: break circular dependency with ocelot switch lib
Michael reported that when using the "ocelot-8021q" tagging protocol,
the switch driver module must be manually loaded before the tagging
protocol can be loaded/is available.

This appears to be the same problem described here:

where due to the fact that DSA tagging protocols make use of symbols
exported by the switch drivers, circular dependencies appear and this
breaks module autoloading.

The ocelot_8021q driver needs the ocelot_can_inject() and
ocelot_port_inject_frame() functions from the switch library. Previously
the wrong approach was taken to solve that dependency: shims were
provided for the case where the ocelot switch library was compiled out,
but that turns out to be insufficient, because the dependency when the
switch lib _is_ compiled is problematic too.

We cannot declare ocelot_can_inject() and ocelot_port_inject_frame() as
static inline functions, because these access I/O functions like
__ocelot_write_ix() which is called by ocelot_write_rix(). Making those
static inline basically means exposing the whole guts of the ocelot
switch library, not ideal...

We already have one tagging protocol driver which calls into the switch
driver during xmit but not using any exported symbol: sja1105_defer_xmit.
We can do the same thing here: create a kthread worker and one work item
per skb, and let the switch driver itself do the register accesses to
send the skb, and then consume it.

DSA tagging protocol drivers cannot depend on symbols exported by switch
drivers, because this creates a circular dependency that breaks module
autoloading.

The tag_ocelot.c file depends on the ocelot_ptp_rew_op() function
exported by the common ocelot switch lib. This function looks at
OCELOT_SKB_CB(skb) and computes how to populate the REW_OP field of the
DSA tag, for PTP timestamping (the command: one-step/two-step, and the
TX timestamp identifier).

None of that requires deep insight into the driver, it is quite
stateless, as it only depends upon the skb->cb. So let's make it a
static inline function and put it in include/linux/dsa/ocelot.h, a
file that despite its name is used by the ocelot switch driver for
populating the injection header too - since commit 40d3f295b5 ("net:
mscc: ocelot: use common tag parsing code with DSA").

With that function declared as static inline, its body is expanded
inside each call site, so the dependency is broken and the DSA tagger
can be built without the switch library, upon which the felix driver
depends.

ebb4c6a990 net: mscc: ocelot: cross-check the sequence id from the timestamp FIFO with the skb PTP header
The sad reality is that when a PTP frame with a TX timestamping request
is transmitted, it isn't guaranteed that it will make it all the way to
the wire (due to congestion inside the switch), and that a timestamp
will be taken by the hardware and placed in the timestamp FIFO where an
IRQ will be raised for it.

The implication is that if enough PTP frames are silently dropped by the
hardware such that the timestamp ID has rolled over, it is possible to
match a timestamp to an old skb.

Furthermore, nobody will match on the real skb corresponding to this
timestamp, since we stupidly matched on a previous one that was stale in
the queue, and stopped there.

So PTP timestamping will be broken and there will be no way to recover.

It looks like the hardware parses the sequenceID from the PTP header,
and also provides that metadata for each timestamp. The driver currently
ignores this, but it shouldn't.

As an extra resiliency measure, do the following:

- check whether the PTP sequenceID also matches between the skb and the
  timestamp, treat the skb as stale otherwise and free it

- if we see a stale skb, don't stop there and try to match an skb one
  more time, chances are there's one more skb in the queue with the same
  timestamp ID, otherwise we wouldn't have ever found the stale one (it
  is by timestamp ID that we matched it).

While this does not prevent PTP packet drops, it at least prevents
the catastrophic consequences of incorrect timestamp matching.

Since we already call ptp_classify_raw in the TX path, save the result
in the skb->cb of the clone, and just use that result in the interrupt
code path.

52849bcf00 net: mscc: ocelot: avoid overflowing the PTP timestamp FIFO
PTP packets with 2-step TX timestamp requests are matched to packets
based on the egress port number and a 6-bit timestamp identifier.
All PTP timestamps are held in a common FIFO that is 128 entry deep.

This patch ensures that back-to-back timestamping requests cannot exceed
the hardware FIFO capacity. If that happens, simply send the packets
without requesting a TX timestamp to be taken (in the case of felix,
since the DSA API has a void return code in ds->ops->port_txtstamp) or
drop them (in the case of ocelot).

I've moved the ts_id_lock from a per-port basis to a per-switch basis,
because we need separate accounting for both numbers of PTP frames in
flight. And since we need locking to inc/dec the per-switch counter,
that also offers protection for the per-port counter and hence there is
no reason to have a per-port counter anymore.

c57fe0037a net: mscc: ocelot: make use of all 63 PTP timestamp identifiers
At present, there is a problem when user space bombards a port with PTP
event frames which have TX timestamping requests (or when a tc-taprio
offload is installed on a port, which delays the TX timestamps by a
significant amount of time). The driver will happily roll over the 2-bit
timestamp ID and this will cause incorrect matches between an skb and
the TX timestamp collected from the FIFO.

The Ocelot switches have a 6-bit PTP timestamp identifier, and the value
63 is reserved, so that leaves identifiers 0-62 to be used.

The timestamp identifiers are selected by the REW_OP packet field, and
are actually shared between CPU-injected frames and frames which match a
VCAP IS2 rule that modifies the REW_OP. The hardware supports
partitioning between the two uses of the REW_OP field through the
PTP_ID_LOW and PTP_ID_HIGH registers, and by default reserves the PTP
IDs 0-3 for CPU-injected traffic and the rest for VCAP IS2.

The driver does not use VCAP IS2 to set REW_OP for 2-step timestamping,
and it also writes 0xffffffff to both PTP_ID_HIGH and PTP_ID_LOW in
ocelot_init_timestamp() which makes all timestamp identifiers available
to CPU injection.

Therefore, we can make use of all 63 timestamp identifiers, which should
allow more timestampable packets to be in flight on each port. This is
only part of the solution, more issues will be addressed in future changes.
